Board Game Details
In Pandemic, players will find themselves not pitted against each other, but working together as a team to race to find the cure for four infectious diseases breaking out across the globe. They will each take on unique roles and use their specialties to help the team keep these outbreaks under control while at the same time hoping to find all four cures. You can be the medic and quickly clear an infected city of the disease, or the Operations Expert and set up research stations to help your teammates travel the globe faster! It will take everyone working together as a team to beat the clock and save humanity in this break out hit! Pandemic is a fun, engaging game the whole family can play!

Pandemic is definitely one of the best co-op games currently available. The rules are simple and easy to learn as well as explain allowing even non-gamers to easily get into a game without in-game frustrations (ex. "no one said you could do that!"). The fact that everyone is working together also helps guide newcomers into what actions are advisable to perform at given times. This being said, it's very important that players work as a team, because this game is punishing and an un-cooperative player will ultimately lead to a loss. However, players are able to adjust difficulty by changing the number of epidemic cards in the deck, so if a group finds themselves losing/winning repeatedly, simply change the number of epidemics. And as each player is assigned a random roll to play and virus locations are card based and therefore shuffled, no two games are ever the same making replayability of Pandemic very high. Pandemic is easy to learn, only takes an hour, and is scalable in difficulty. On easy you will face a 70% mortality rate!
The object of the game is to eradicate all the viruses around the world, sounds easy!
Well they multiply fast, so fast that you will face infection every turn, two cities at least! and when you pull the epidemic card it really picks up speed.
You win by curing all four viruses. You lose if you run out of any color of viruses, running out of cards, to many out breaks and so on.
THe easy level you will have 4 epidemics, you add more of these cards to make it harder!
Your role card is the key to winning, the special traits on the card help off set the over whelming advance of sickness.
