Board Game Details

There's a new Sherriff in town! The town's outlaws are ready to show him who's boss, while the deputies do their best to keep him safe. The catch is, everyone's identity but the Sherriff's is a secret! Recreating the old Spaghetti Western shootout, the case of hidden identities adds a new twist to the theme, as players must bluff each other and try to find out who they're shooting or risk taking out their own teammates! With dozens of different cards that let you shoot other players, protect yourself, give your life, or take specialty actions, it's up to you to decide the best time to strike and how. The Outlaws win if they kill the Sherriff, while the Deputies and Sherriff win if they find and get rid of all the outlaws.

Bang has become a popular party game because of it's fun, quick gameplay and clever intrigue. It works best with 5 or more players, but can be played with 4-7!

This western mafia game with RPG-like elements, and a clever system of distance will keep you playing over and over again. You gain a different role and character each game getting you to constantly rethink your strategy. The game has several fun expansions, both official and unofficial. BANG! is also pretty easy to mod. There are many house roles and alternate gameplays (search for BANG! Tactics or Infinite BANG! for instance) to consider. Adding character cards is easy, as well as adding new playing cards. Ideal for 5 players, it is still fun with 4 and as many as 8. (Posted on 1/29/11)
