2 de Mayo

The Game 2 de Mayo recreates the events of that day in 1808 when Spanish civilians and a few Spanish army units rebelled against their French occupiers in an ill fated attempt to throw Napoleon out of their city. The game centers around this conflict, letting players take either side as they struggle for control of the largest city in Spain.

With card driven Mechanics, players will compete over 10 turns for strategic positions in Madrid. The French must eliminate all Spanish resistence before the game ends and not lose any of their footholds within the city. If they fail to do so, the Spanish player wins. Struggle through the evens of the 2nd of May, 1808, to recreate history, or make your own!
